![]() ![]() I listened to "Beautiful Bastard" and enjoyed it immensely, so when "Beautiful Stranger" was released I downloaded immediately. But it is most disconcerting and uncomfortable to hear. Sorry! Didn't ruin it entirely as the book is too good for that. It would have been far better than the weirdness that comes out every time she's trying to be a Brit. The male actor I assume can't do an American accent and thus doesn't try. It is so jarring, every time she has a line of Max's it's so jarring it throws me out of the story entirely. However, the woman doing Sara? Worst British accent I have ever heard. ![]() ![]() The performances by the two voice actors are believable and I very much enjoyed them when they are in their own heads. I am charmed by Max and want to be Sara's friend. Sexy, witty and smart, they are engaging, current and manage to bed both some of the hottest stuff I've ever read, and also completely heart warming. I will immediately purchase anything by Christina Lauren-no brainier, they are brilliant. One of my fave books but man that accent is bad ![]()

A Christy Award finalist and two-time winner of the American Christian Fiction Writers. I truly enjoy both adult and youth books from Kristin Billerbeck and cannot wait for more. Kristin Billerbeck is the bestselling, award-winning author of several novels, including What a Girl Wants, Perfectly Dateless, and Perfectly Invisible. Truly there is no perfect childhood or youth and I think attempting to stage one would cause more harm than good. Overall, I have to admit it makes me wonder about things as my own daughters grow. There were some plot things that had me quite confused in this story, but then coming from a teenage mind, I think that was the point that I was just as confused as Daisy was. It was interesting to me however, for a girl without cable TV that she was familiar with so many current day television references, but then I guess they’re out there beyond the tube or flat screen. Very enlightening to both girls, guys and parents who want to care or understand. Read 'Perfectly Dateless (My Perfectly Misunderstood Life Book 1) A Universally Misunderstood Novel' by Kristin Billerbeck available from Rakuten Kobo. I think that it could be valuable read for many different people. Brings back memories of my own school experiences as well as while I was a long term substitute teacher.Īgain, truly I could not turn the pages fast enough and I overall enjoyed this story. Kristin really brings out the inner thoughts that are pretty much right on key for a teen late in high school. Read from July 10 to 14, 2011 - I own a copyĪs much so as I enjoyed Perfectly Dateless last summer, I enjoyed Perfectly Invisible this one. ![]() |
